About Peak Physio

Founded with the vision of providing honest, high-quality physiotherapy, Peak Physio has become a trusted destination for personalised rehabilitation in the Moot. From the beginning, our philosophy has been simple: deliver consistent, evidence-based care, build strong patient relationships, and guide every individual from injury to peak performance.

At our practice, you are the centre of everything we do. We take the time to understand your goals, your lifestyle, and your movement patterns so that every treatment session has purpose. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing a sports injury, or dealing with day-to-day pain, our focus is on restoring confidence, improving function, and helping you return to what you love.

Meet James

I’ve always believed that movement is one of the most powerful forms of medicine. My journey into physiotherapy started long before I ever stepped into a lecture hall. It began on the sports field. Growing up active, competitive, and constantly pushing my limits, I experienced my fair share of injuries. What stood out during each recovery wasn’t just getting back to sport, but the incredible impact a skilled physiotherapist could have on confidence, performance, and overall wellbeing.

Those experiences sparked something in me. I realised I wanted to help people move better, feel stronger, and return to the things that make them feel alive. That passion led me to study physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand, where I discovered a deeper appreciation for anatomy, human movement, and evidence-based rehabilitation.

Over the years, my path has taken me from outpatient practices to hospital settings, from managing sports injuries to guiding patients through post-operative care. Each step shaped my clinical identity and reinforced what I value most: quality movement over quantity, treating the whole person, and building strong, honest relationships with every patient.

Today, I bring that philosophy to Peak Physio, combining skilled assessment, hands-on care, strength and conditioning principles, and modern rehabilitation techniques to help patients in the Moot reach their peak again.

James, physiotherapist at Peak Physio
